Job Description
Machine Operator and Setup
Training provided on 1st shift, Shift hours will be on 2nd shift | $20-$22/hr | Norcross, GA
The Machine Operator and Setup will ensure machinery is set up for jobs, operates properly and produces finished goods that confirm with company standards. The Machine Operator and Setup will perform troubleshooting and daily PMs on machines.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator and Setup will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate specialty machinery to custom print or label rigid containers like jars, bottles, tin cans, pails, etc.
- Adjust machine for screen or label changes, quality issues or other varying needs
- Set up and operate machines according to manufacturer instructions, specifications and standard operating procedures
- Follow work orders and other specifications to ensure the proper setup sequence is followed
- Ensure necessary job paperwork are complete and signed off by Management/Department
- Ensure the correct artwork is used on jobs and that the final product is packed out and labeled correctly
- Provide machine maintenance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Hospice Traveling Registered Nurse role:
- Previous machine setup and operator experience required
- Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
- Ability to determine weather machinery is working properly based on specifications such as fixtures, speeds or feed rates
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to comply with all pre-employment requirements
