Event Usher Requirements/Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the event
- Reliable transportation to and from the venue
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Comfortable assisting guests and answering questions
- Ability to remain attentive in a fast-paced event setting
- Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or usher experience preferred
- Leadership experience or interest in future lead opportunities is a plus
About the Event Usher Role
As an Event Usher, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests and providing a welcoming event experience
- Assisting attendees with locating seats and event areas
- Directing guest traffic and helping maintain an orderly environment
- Monitoring assigned sections throughout the event
- Answering questions and providing general event information
- Assisting with crowd management and guest flow
- Reporting concerns or issues to event supervisors
- Supporting event staff with operational needs as assigned
- Ensuring venue policies and procedures are followed
- Providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after the event
