Pallet Sorter Job Details
Monday – Friday | 5:30am – 1:45pm | $18hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory based on production needs
Pallet Sorter Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or outdoor industrial environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods
About the Pallet Sorter Role
As a Pallet Sorter, your responsibilities will include:
- Sorting wooden pallets by hand according to company quality standards
- Inspecting pallets for damage and identifying repairable and non-repairable pallets
- Separating pallets by grade, size, and condition
- Performing quality inspections to ensure pallets meet customer specifications
- Stacking and down-stacking pallets safely and efficiently
- Assisting with hand pallet sortation throughout the warehouse or yard
- Stacking and organizing lumber and pallet materials as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Working efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Reporting damaged materials or safety concerns to supervisors
- Performing additional warehouse and general labor duties as assigned
