Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Location: Florence, KY

Package Sorting Associate Requirements/Qualifications

Previous warehouse, package sorting, shipping, or distribution experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds required.
Ability to sort, organize, and process packages accurately.
Experience operating package scanning or sorting equipment preferred.
Ability to follow company procedures and applicable postal regulations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to read and understand package labels, shipping information, and sorting instructions.
Ability to identify packages requiring special handling or attention.
Ability to organize trays, bins, and containers for automated sorting systems.
Ability to work around robotic equipment and automated warehouse processes.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain an efficient workflow while meeting processing deadlines.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and follow supervisor instructions.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic required.

About the Package Sorting Associate Role

As a Package Sorting Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Sort packages and mail according to established distribution procedures.
Organize packages for shipment and delivery.
Operate package scanning and sorting equipment.
Scan packages to support accurate tracking and processing.
Read package labels and shipping information to determine proper sorting locations.
Load and organize trays, bins, and containers for robotic sorting systems.
Prepare packages and materials for automated processing.
Assist with maintaining an organized workflow throughout the warehouse.
Identify and separate packages according to shipping or distribution requirements.
Handle packages carefully to prevent damage during sorting and movement.
Lift and move packages weighing 50 pounds or more.
Assist with organizing inventory and warehouse materials.
Monitor package flow to help prevent delays and sorting errors.
Identify and report damaged packages or incorrect shipping information.
Maintain accurate package placement and organization.
Follow company procedures and applicable postal regulations.
Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily processing goals.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas.
Follow safety guidelines when working around sorting equipment and robotic systems.
Support timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Complete additional package sorting and warehouse responsibilities as assigned.
