Janitorial Technician Requirements/Qualifications

Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
Comfortable working in a controlled environment while maintaining strict cleanliness standards.

About the Janitorial Technician Role

As a Janitorial Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Cleaning all work surfaces within a controlled environment using approved cleaning solutions.
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping designated areas as permitted.
Cleaning and buffing tile floors to maintain facility standards.
Cleaning and polishing stainless steel and other metal hardware.
Disinfecting and sterilizing tools, equipment, containers, and materials before entering controlled environments.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and contamination-free work area.
Following sanitation procedures and contamination-control protocols.
Properly handling and storing cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Removing waste and ensuring all areas remain clean and presentable.
Supporting facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance requirements.
