Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Material Handler.
Material Handler Job Details
Schedule: 1st Shift (Orientation required before start date)
Pay Rate: $17.00/ hr
Location: Florence, KY
Material Handler Requirements/Qualifications
- Recent stand-up forklift experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Ability to move materials throughout a warehouse and production environment
- Ability to assist with production line duties as needed
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
- No violent felony convictions within the last 5 years
- Must complete fingerprint registration
- Must be able to wear required PPE
- Steel-toe boots required
About the Material Handler Role
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a stand-up forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Moving materials between the warehouse and production lines
- Supplying production lines with necessary materials and inventory
- Assisting production associates on the line when needed
- Loading, unloading, and staging materials for production
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Following all warehouse and manufacturing safety procedures
- Participating in forklift certification through Camco
- Communicating with supervisors regarding material needs and inventory movement
- Supporting production and warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow
