Material Handler
Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $19.04/hour
Full-Time | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer and inventory tracking experience preferred
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Move materials and products throughout the facility to support production and shipping operations
- Load, unload, sort, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations
- Verify labels, tags, and product information for accuracy
- Assist with inventory control and material tracking processes
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
- Report inventory discrepancies and equipment concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards
- Assist with additional warehouse and production duties as assigned
