Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hour
Shifts Available: 1st & 3rd Shift
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Quality Inspector Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to use gauges, scales, and other measuring equipment
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
- Use measuring tools and testing equipment to verify product specifications
- Identify, document, and remove non-conforming products from production
- Assemble, pack, label, and stack products according to work instructions
- Sort, transfer, and palletize finished products efficiently and accurately
- Read production schedules and follow pallet configurations as directed
- Move products to designated staging and shipping areas
- Complete quality inspections and production records accurately
- Report mechanical, electrical, safety, or quality concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and good manufacturing practices
- Participate in continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives
