Crown Staffing is hiring a Material Handler (Sit-Down Forklift Driver)!
Material Handler Job Details
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr + Shift Differential Available
Schedule: Part-Time
Location: Newly Weds Foods
Requirements of the Material Handler
- Resume or profile sheet required for consideration
- 2–3 years of distribution, shipping, and receiving experience required
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Food manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously
- Ability to push/pull 100+ lbs.
- Must be available for overtime and weekends when needed
- Background restrictions apply
Responsibilities of the Material Handler
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move products throughout the facility
- Supply packaging lines with materials and pallets as needed
- Move finished goods from production to warehouse locations
- Assist with stacking boxes and bags onto pallets
- Assist with dumping products and material handling duties
- Complete inventory, cycle count, and production paperwork
- Maintain the integrity of raw materials and finished products
- Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO requirements
- Support packaging operations and other warehouse duties as assigned
