Crown Staffing is hiring a Hydrant Restoration Technician for a growing infrastructure maintenance company.

Hydrant Restoration Technician Job Details
Schedule: Seasonal full-time position; Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work based on project needs. Extended travel assignments are common.
Pay Rate: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Various project locations throughout the region, including travel assignments in states such as Texas and Louisiana.
Hydrant Restoration Technician Requirements/Qualifications
  • Must be available to travel and stay out of town for 2–3 weeks at a time
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift and move up to 90 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions
  • Strong attendance record and dependable work habits
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized restoration techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Previous experience in construction, industrial labor, painting, blasting, or restoration is a plus
About the Hydrant Restoration Technician Role
As a Hydrant Restoration Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing fire hydrant surfaces for restoration through cleaning and surface treatment processes
  • Operating blasting equipment to remove corrosion, coatings, and contaminants
  • Applying protective coatings and primers to prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Performing industrial painting tasks according to project specifications
  • Inspecting completed work to verify quality and consistency
  • Transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
  • Completing work records, project documentation, and daily activity reports
  • Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance, and breakdown procedures
  • Maintaining organized work areas, vehicles, and storage locations
  • Working alongside crew members to meet project deadlines and production goals
  • Following all company safety procedures and environmental requirements
  • Providing professional service while working in municipal and public settings
