Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Part-Time Packer (Grind Line) in Walton, KY!
Packer (Grind Line) Job Details
Schedule: Part-time, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Monday-Friday preferred
Overtime: Mandatory if needed.
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Location: Walton, KY
Packer (Grind Line) Requirements/Qualifications
- Must be looking for permanent part-time employment
- Must have reliable attendance with no upcoming appointments or planned absences
- Must have a stable work history with good attendance
- Must be able to work in a wet, refrigerated/freezer environment (0°–32°F, occasional freezer exposure below 0°F)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment
- Must be able to continuously lift 10–20 lbs. throughout the shift
- Steel toe boots are required
- Must be willing to work in different warehouse areas as needed
- Background check required (violent or sexual felony charges require client approval)
- 5-panel drug screen (THC accepted)
- High School Diploma/GED not required
About the Packer (Grind Line) Role
As a Packer (Grind Line), your responsibilities will include:
- Pack and box beef, pork, lamb, veal, and seafood products
- Follow company packing standards and customer specifications
- Inspect products to ensure quality and proper appearance
- Read and follow work orders and special packing instructions
- Work efficiently in a refrigerated warehouse environment
- Meet daily production and accuracy goals
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Assist in other warehouse departments as needed
- Work safely while maintaining productivity standards
