Brake Press Operator Job Details
Schedule: 1st Shift 6am-230pm
Pay Rate: $20-25 Depending on Experience
Location: Riverside, MO
Brake Press Operator Requirements/Qualifications:
- Operating and setting up a Safan press brake or similar
- Performing machine setups and changeovers
- Reading and following work instructions and prints
- Selecting/installing appropriate tooling
- Performing measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Making adjustments as needed to maintain part quality
- General understanding of press brake operations and metal fabrication
About the Brake Press Operator Role
As a Brake Press Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and set up of a Safan Press Brake or similar press brake equipment
- Perform Machine setups, tooling changes, and changeovers
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and engineering prints
- Select and install the appropriate tooling for each job
- Measure finished parts and perform quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
- Make machine and process adjustments as needed to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
- Safely operate equipment while following company safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other related duties as needed to support production
