Crown Staffing is hiring Cherry Picker/Forklift Operators for a distribution center in Independence, KY.
Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Mandatory during peak season, including Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Must complete a facility tour before being considered
- Previous cherry picker and forklift experience required
- Prior PIT, RF scan gun, and distribution experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout an 8–10-hour shift
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet
- Must be willing to assist in all areas of the distribution center, not just equipment operation
About the Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Role
As a Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating powered industrial trucks, including cherry pickers, reach trucks, runners, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Unloading trailers safely and efficiently
- Using RF scan guns to fill and verify customer orders
- Utilizing a voice-directed picking system and phonetic alphabet for order accuracy
- Replenishing inventory and stocking picking locations
- Building, stacking, and transporting pallets according to company standards
- Performing inventory counts and maintaining product accuracy
- Following all OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and fall protection requirements
