Pay: $35.00 – $39.00/hour (based on experience)
Operating Hours:

• Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

Crown Staffing is hiring compassionate and skilled Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) to support medically complex children in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) setting in Bowling Green, KY.

In this role, you will provide direct skilled nursing care to children from birth through age 20 who require ongoing medical support. You’ll work closely with pediatricians, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and overall health status
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and caregivers regarding patient care
• Educate families and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and home care procedures
• Assist with feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, suctioning, and other skilled nursing procedures
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs when appropriate
• Participate in care conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training sessions
• Advocate for patients and families while promoting a compassionate environment

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with medically fragile children, ventilators, trachs, or g-tubes preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Pediatric, home health, long-term care, or PPEC experience preferred
