General Laborer Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or service work preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem-solving skills
- General knowledge of the construction industry required
- Comfortable working at heights up to 50 feet using aerial lifts
- Ability to travel throughout the Southeast and Midwest with overnight stays during the week (home on weekends)
- Experience operating lifts, aerial platforms, lulls, or similar equipment preferred
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications preferred
- General electrical knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
About the General Laborer Role
Crown Staffing is seeking dependable General Laborers for a company specializing in sports facility installation and maintenance in Fisherville, KY. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of gymnasium equipment, scoreboards, bleachers, and related systems at schools and facilities throughout the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist Foreman with installation and maintenance of gymnasium equipment and bleachers
- Support installation of indoor and outdoor scoreboards
- Troubleshoot equipment and job site issues alongside service teams
- Operate equipment such as lifts, aerial platforms, and other machinery safely
- Assist with maintaining tools, equipment, and job site materials
- Help document maintenance, repairs, and service records electronically
- Support loading, unloading, and transportation of tools and materials
- Maintain accurate job hour and project documentation
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements
- Travel to customer sites throughout the Southeast and Midwest as needed
- Assist with additional installation and maintenance duties as assigned
