Storage Facility Attendant Job Details
Louisville, KY (Travel to Radcliff required)
Pay: $15.00–$17.00/hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday | 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Storage Facility Attendant Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Basic maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Louisville and Radcliff locations
- Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with unit rentals, pricing, and facility policies
- Process lease agreements, payments, and maintain accurate tenant records
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security
- Lock and unlock facility gates and storage areas according to schedule
- Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Perform light maintenance duties, including cleaning units, changing locks, and minor repairs
- Manage delinquent accounts by following established collection procedures
- Assist customers during move-ins and move-outs
- Maintain office organization and inventory of packing and moving supplies
- Provide outstanding customer service while ensuring smooth day-to-day facility operations
