Production Operator Job Details
Schedule: Rotational A Shift, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (12-hour shifts, rotating schedule of 2 days on/3 days off)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Location: Lebanon, OH
Production Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and understand safety and operating procedures written in English
- Ability to record production data accurately
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Must be able to perform physical labor, heavy lifting, and stand for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working in an automotive manufacturing environment with exposure to gas, oil, and chemicals
- Background check required
- Open to second chance candidates (No sexual, violent, or theft offenses and no multiple offenses)
About the Production Operator Role
As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload castings into machining equipment
- Perform quality inspections and record production data
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Recognize and report quality or equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and startup checks
- Complete line changeovers and tool changes
- Load and unload plating racks
- Transfer production materials throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S standards
- Work overtime as required based on production needs
