Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Hamilton, OH
Overtime: As needed

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements/Qualifications

Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
Valid forklift certification required (company will provide recertification for OSHA compliance)
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

About the Shipping & Receiving Clerk Role

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using a forklift
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management
Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and office personnel
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
