ANCA CNC Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of tool grinding experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a tool maker’s scope required
- Minimum 2 years of micro tooling experience required
- Experience operating ANCA CNC grinding machines preferred
- Proficiency in ANCA programming software preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Strong attendance and punctuality required
About the ANCA CNC Operator Role
As an ANCA CNC Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Load and secure cutting tool blanks according to specifications
- Program grinding cycles using ANCA software
- Operate and monitor CNC grinding machines
- Inspect finished cutting tools using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain quality standards and production tolerances
- Perform machine adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance tasks
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout production
- Follow engineering drawings and production specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
- Assist with additional machining duties as assigned
