Schedule: Shift to be discussed during interview
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Sewing Machine Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior sewing or textile industry experience preferred (training available)
- Ability to use industrial sewing machines (double overcaster, serger, quilter, etc. preferred)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and tickets
- Basic math skills including ability to add, subtract, and work with fractions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation
About the Sewing Machine Operator Role
As a Sewing Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assemble panels and borders per established work instructions
- Operate industrial sewing machines using foot and hand controls
- Sew borders to panel cloth and produce mattress and box spring covers
- Overcast edges of quilter border materials
- Read tickets and collect required materials for each job
- Sort, fold, and stack covers, borders, and panels as needed
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as re-threading and replacing needles
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation at all times
- Move materials and carts throughout the production area
- Follow all safety and production procedures
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
