Job Description
Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shop Technician.
Shop Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time schedule. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00/hr (based on experience)

Shop Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume/profile sheet required. Interview required before starting.
- High school diploma or technical school diploma required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn pump repair techniques.
- Steel toe boots required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and climbing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), background check, and 10-panel drug screen required.
About the Shop Technician Role
As a Shop Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with cleaning, diagnosing, and repairing industrial pumps.
- Disassemble, rebuild, and prepare pumps for service and repair.
- Load and unload freight using a forklift.
- Package, crate, and prepare equipment for shipment.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Operate a company vehicle to complete local pickups and deliveries throughout Ohio and Kentucky.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Support warehouse and shop operations while learning new repair and maintenance skills.
