Pay Rate: $20.90/hr
Location: Florence, KY
General Utility Associate Requirements/Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience required
- Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to complete production paperwork accurately
- Ability to perform quality checks and identify product issues
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
About the General Utility Associate Role
As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting production operations by ensuring production lines have necessary materials
- Starting and operating mixers and production equipment
- Emptying production lines into pallets for work-in-process (WIP) or finished goods
- Building pallets to keep up with production output
- Keeping accurate counts of inventory produced during each shift
- Completing required production paperwork and documentation
- Monitoring downtime and documenting causes when needed
- Ensuring proper packaging materials are used for each product type
- Loading and unloading trucks and staging products in the correct locations
- Inspecting products for quality issues using visual inspections or measuring tools
- Maintaining housekeeping standards using the 6S process
- Supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing environment
