Welder Fabricator Job Details
Monday – Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm | $22/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Welder Fabricator Requirements
- TIG welding is a plus
- Must know how to look at the shop drawing, interpret what is required, lay it out, cut the material and fabricate the product
- Lots of thinking and problem solving will be required.
- A valid Driver's license with a clear driving record is also required.
- Heavy lifting is required up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
About the Welder Fabricator Role
As a Welder Fabricator, your responsibilities will include:
- Required to work from blueprints and shop drawings to lay out various items like railings, stairs, fences, window guards, gates
- Cuts, punches, and drills materials as required
- MIG welds steel materials such as tube, angle and channel, ranging from 16 gauge to 1/2 thick
- TIG welding capability of brass, aluminum and stainless steel
- Grinding materials to high finish standards
