Operations Support Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM in office. Travel is required 10–50% of the month and may result in overtime.
Pay Rate: $60,000–$70,000 per year

Operations Support Technician Requirements/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years mechanical assembly experience required
- Welding experience required; certification and/or trade school completion preferred
- Mechanical aptitude required; electrical background preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel 10–50% of the month depending on business needs
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements and continuous improvement methods preferred
About the Operations Support Technician Role
As an Operations Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:
As an Operations Support Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support and service to customers while ensuring safe and reliable equipment operation
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment to meet customer expectations
- Performing preventative maintenance (PM) services and warranty repairs at customer locations
- Supporting equipment start-ups, installations, and field service projects
- Rebuilding and maintaining centrifuge RTA equipment as part of the rebuild program
- Maintaining and servicing company equipment and field test equipment
- Providing technical assistance through phone, email, and other communication methods
- Completing technical product reports and documenting equipment issues and solutions
- Conducting field testing, quality audits, and safety audits as requested
- Supporting sales teams with customer visits and equipment field testing
- Creating and maintaining communication between customers, sales teams, customer service, and management
- Planning work schedules and assignments to meet customer needs and service requirements
