Forklift Operator
Danville, KY
Pay: $15.00–$17.00/hour
Part-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM (4–5 hours per day)
- Overtime may be available as needed
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous forklift experience preferred (certification is a plus)
- Ability to read packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documents
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Read and verify packing lists and bills of lading for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas
- Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Refuel equipment and follow proper forklift operating procedures
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
