CT Technologist – Nights (Rapid Response)
Maysville, KY
Pay: $48.00/hour
Travel Assignment | 8 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Night Shift
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
CT Technologist Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current Kentucky radiologic technologist license required
- CT registry/CT competency required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT imaging experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience with CT scanners, contrast power injectors, PACS, image acquisition workstations, patient monitoring equipment, and EHR systems
- Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and patient safety
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Administer contrast media within scope of practice and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Review image quality and ensure studies meet diagnostic standards
- Document procedures accurately in PACS and the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Operate CT scanners, imaging workstations, and related diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient care guidelines
