Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for an Assembly Technician III.
Assembly Technician III Job Details
Schedule: Full-time, 1st Shift. Travel up to 25% required.
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr

Assembly Technician III Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience assembling, troubleshooting, or repairing industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly experience required.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools, measuring instruments, and machine shop equipment.
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and train lower-level technicians.
- Must provide basic hand tools (metric wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites.
About the Assembly Technician III Role
As an Assembly Technician III, your responsibilities will include:
- Assemble custom industrial equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Install and wire electrical components, control cabinets, and machine assemblies.
- Perform equipment commissioning, power-up, testing, and calibration.
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and prepare equipment for customer inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during assembly and testing.
- Train and mentor Assembly Technicians while providing technical support.
- Operate machine shop equipment and a variety of hand and power tools safely.
- Prepare completed equipment for shipment, including breakdown, packing, and loading.
- Report defective parts, equipment issues, and engineering concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Travel to customer locations as needed to support equipment installation and service.
