Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator.
Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator Job Details
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (4th Shift). $3.00/hr shift differential.
Pay Rate: $22.00–$33.00/hr (based on experience) + $3.00/hr shift differential

Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- Minimum of 1 year of Swiss screw machine setup, lathe setup experience, or Swiss/lathe-related education required.
- Ability to set up and operate Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical schematics, and technical instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assist with machine maintenance and train other operators.
About the Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator Role
As a Swiss & Lathe Setup Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines.
- Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Load bar stock, replenish machine fluids, and remove chips from machines.
- Inspect parts to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and assist with maintenance activities.
- Train and support other operators on machine setup and operation.
- Follow ISO quality standards and company safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete production tasks efficiently while meeting productivity goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department.
