Warehouse Associate Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, moving, furniture handling, or inventory experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
About the Warehouse Associate Role
As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare customer rental orders by picking, staging, wrapping, and loading furniture, décor, linens, and event equipment according to order specifications.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure all rental items are clean, damage-free, and meet company standards before leaving the warehouse.
- Coordinate with the logistics and transportation teams to confirm delivery routes, schedules, and special customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks safely while properly securing furniture and equipment for transport.
- Assist with local deliveries, pickups, and on-site event setups and breakdowns as needed.
- Retrieve inventory from warehouse storage locations to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
- Process returned rental items by inspecting for damage, documenting shortages or repairs, cleaning items as necessary, and returning inventory to the appropriate storage location.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely (training or certification preferred).
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and ensure products are easily accessible.
- Communicate inventory shortages, damaged items, or delivery issues promptly to warehouse management.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
- Support warehouse operations and assist with special projects as assigned.
