Assembler
Hollyvilla, KY
Pay: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Assembler Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of mechanical or electronics assembly experience preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools and pneumatic tools preferred
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and technical drawings
- Basic English communication skills required to understand instructions and complete work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based production environment
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble automotive cockpit components including dashboards, consoles, electronics, brackets, and wiring harnesses
- Install components using hand tools and pneumatic torque tools according to specifications
- Follow SOPs, engineering requirements, and torque specifications during assembly
- Perform self-inspections and functional testing of completed assemblies
- Verify component functionality including screens, buttons, and electronic features
- Document defects and assist with rework processes when necessary
- Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout guidelines
- Perform basic tool checks and maintain workstation organization
- Maintain 5S standards and a clean work environment
- Work with production team members to meet daily production goals
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Perform additional assembly duties as assigned
