Location: Walton, KY
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Experience with motors, sensors, gearboxes, valves, and pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
- Ability to work safely in FDA-regulated and controlled production areas.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights and in elevated areas.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Must provide personal hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the company.
About the Industrial Maintenance Technician Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform preventive maintenance on filling, capping, labeling, conveying, and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete reliable repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Support PLC and VFD troubleshooting.
- Replace defective mechanical and electrical components.
- Document maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist with root cause investigations and reliability improvements.
- Maintain spare parts awareness and report equipment concerns.
- Support production operations by minimizing equipment downtime.
- Perform maintenance in controlled medical device production areas while following cGMP, FDA, and quality procedures.
- Follow LOTO procedures and all company safety requirements.
- Maintain proper gowning and clean-as-you-go practices in controlled areas.
- Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance as needed.
