Site Superintendent — Project Site Manager
Lexington, KY
Pay: $83,200–$89,440/year
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Site Superintendent Requirements
- 7+ years of construction or industrial experience required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Superintendent or senior supervisory role on multi-trade industrial projects
- Experience with process industries such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing preferred
- Experience with sanitary systems, process equipment installation, and structural/fabrication interfaces
- Advanced ability to read and interpret shop drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and contract documents
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and project coordination skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi-discipline crews
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Proficiency with project documentation and site reporting tools
- Experience with Procore, MS Project, or similar software preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases
- OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
- Experience with ASME R/PP/U stamp requirements preferred
- Experience with ANSI tubing welding requirements or sanitary systems preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations, including mobilization, resource assignments, material staging, and logistics
- Coordinate site activities to keep project schedules and milestones on track
- Develop and maintain site schedules in coordination with Project Management
- Identify potential risks, delays, and schedule impacts and develop solutions
- Lead site safety activities, inspections, toolbox talks, and contractor safety meetings
- Enforce company and regulatory safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Foremen and field leads
- Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work meets quality and project requirements
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and shop teams regarding RFIs, drawing revisions, and constructability issues
- Monitor change orders and related project documentation
- Coordinate specialized processes including sanitary welding, blasting, surface preparation, and galvanizing
- Monitor labor productivity, site costs, and schedule impacts
- Communicate project status, budget concerns, and schedule risks to Project Management
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, inspectors, and local authorities
- Coordinate inspections and project acceptances
- Prepare and approve daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, punch lists, and closeout documentation
- Ensure successful project completion from mobilization through final turnover
- Perform additional duties as assigned
