Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous inventory-control and cycle-counting experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of inventory replenishment procedures
- Previous forklift-operating experience
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numerical skills and ability to remember product locations
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to warehouse safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Complete inventory cycle counts accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies.
- Replenish products and materials as needed.
- Enter and update inventory information using computer systems.
- Verify product quantities, numbers, and warehouse locations.
- Research and report inventory discrepancies.
- Operate a forklift safely when needed.
- Perform forklift duties approximately 10% of the shift.
- Organize products and maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all inventory-control and workplace-safety procedures.
- Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.
