Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Cutter Operator.

Cutter Operator Job Details
Schedule: 2nd Shift, typically 3:30 PM–11:00 PM; training on 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00–$26.00/hr, depending on experience, plus $1.00/hr shift differential when moved to 2nd Shift
Location: Blue Ash, OH

Cutter Operator Requirements/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience operating cutting machines in a commercial printing environment.
  • Saber cutter experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to cut a variety of printing jobs, including business cards.
  • Ability to assist with special projects, including step books and crossovers.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills required; PACE experience is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production records and complete required forms and checklists.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to push and pull loaded pallet jacks and rolling carts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and in other departments as business needs require.

About the Cutter Operator Role
As a Cutter Operator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operate cutting machines to produce high-quality printing jobs.
  • Set up and operate cutters according to job specifications.
  • Cut a variety of printing jobs, including business cards.
  • Assist with special bindery projects such as step books and crossovers.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records and documentation.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on cutting equipment.
  • Keep jobs and the production floor clean and organized.
  • Follow ISO quality procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Communicate job-specific issues and other pertinent information to the next shift.
  • Assist with training new and temporary employees.
  • Attend department and company meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
