Schedule Information
- Monday–Thursday
- Start time between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM
- End time between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM
- Half-day schedule on Fridays
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience required
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- Experience performing forming-press die changes
- Experience operating and troubleshooting rotary die presses
- Knowledge of preventive-maintenance programs and procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with a dependable work ethic
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- ISO 9001 training or experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and service production equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Complete preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment-service records.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine root causes to minimize production downtime.
- Repair, replace, adjust, and reteach machine components as needed.
- Perform die changes and troubleshoot forming-press operations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain rotary die press equipment.
- Assist with machine operation when production operators are unavailable.
- Move and stage materials to support production efficiency.
- Complete measurements, inspections, and reports according to established work instructions.
- Inspect automotive products according to control plans and customer requirements.
- Ensure products and processes meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Follow applicable ISO 9001 procedures.
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives and production goals.
- Communicate professionally and work collaboratively with production team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager.
