Shop Technician Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00/hr, depending on experience
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Shop Technician Requirements/Qualifications

Resume or profile sheet required.
High school diploma or technical school diploma required.
Previous mechanical or shop experience preferred.
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Steel-toe shoes required.
Valid driver's license required.
Must have a good driving record.
Respectful, approachable, and professional when interacting with customers.
Ability to travel locally in Ohio and Kentucky for customer pickups and deliveries.
Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits.
Ability to maintain a safe, productive, and clean work environment.
Full-body mobility with the ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift or move up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Shop Technician Role

As a Shop Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Assist lead repair technicians with cleaning, diagnosing, and repairing pumps sent in for service.
Assist with pump teardown and rebuilding.
Perform machining and parts-washing tasks as needed.
Pull package tags for RAE pumps.
Pack, crate, and prepare shipments to prevent damage to goods.
Load and unload freight using a forklift.
Check goods and packing slips against purchase orders for accuracy.
Operate company vehicles for local customer pickups and deliveries in Ohio and Kentucky.
Clean and maintain shop equipment.
Maintain shop cleanliness, including sweeping, removing trash, and organizing work areas.
Learn new repair and maintenance skills to support shop operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
