Schedule Information

Physical Therapist Requirements
- Active Kentucky Physical Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Minimum of one year of Physical Therapist experience required
- Strong patient-evaluation and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience developing individualized treatment plans
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, mobility, transfers, balance, and range-of-motion interventions
- Ability to evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans appropriately
- Strong clinical-documentation and patient-education skills
- Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities
- Experience using electronic medical records
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to rehabilitation
- Ability to operate standard physical therapy and rehabilitation equipment safely
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, balance, range of motion, and functional limitations.
- Assess each patient’s rehabilitation needs and clinical goals.
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
- Assist patients with transfers and gait activities.
- Provide balance, strengthening, and range-of-motion interventions.
- Use gait belts, walkers, mobility devices, and transfer equipment safely.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
- Communicate patient updates to physicians and interdisciplinary rehabilitation staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Follow all patient-safety, infection-control, and rehabilitation procedures.
- Perform additional physical therapy duties as assigned.
About the Physical Therapist Role
Crown Staffing is hiring a Physical Therapist for a 13-week, day-shift contract opportunity in Ashland, KY. This position evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, provides therapeutic interventions, and supports patients as they work toward improved mobility and independence.
