Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Location: Vandalia, OH

Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications

Strong stand-up forklift operating experience required.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
Ability to stack and retrieve supplies and materials from staging and storage areas.
Ability to load and unload trailers and containers.
Ability to accurately read picking tickets and follow work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to safely package and prepare products for shipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Professional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

About the Forklift Operator Role

As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Operate a stand-up forklift to safely move, stack, and retrieve materials.
Load and unload trailers and containers.
Receive inbound products, inspect for damage, and verify materials against shipping documentation.
Accurately read picking tickets and prepare customer orders.
Package products safely and accurately for shipment.
Store and stack products according to warehouse procedures.
Load trucks efficiently and verify materials before loading.
Inspect trailers and properly secure loaded materials.
Greet and interact with drivers in a professional manner.
Attend safety meetings and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
