Pay: $33.75/hour

- 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 12-hour shifts

RN – Behavioral Health Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Active BLS certification required
- At least two years of behavioral health nursing experience required
- Inpatient behavioral health experience preferred
- Strong nursing and behavioral-assessment skills
- Experience administering medications and prescribed treatments
- Ability to recognize and respond to behavioral and clinical emergencies
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment
- Strong clinical-documentation and patient-education skills
- Experience using electronic medical records
- Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach to care
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and facility procedures
- All licenses and certifications must be verified before submission
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inpatient behavioral health patients.
- Complete comprehensive nursing and behavioral assessments.
- Monitor patient behavior, vital signs, and changes in condition.
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to medications and interventions.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
- Recognize escalating behaviors and respond using approved de-escalation techniques.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral emergencies and urgent clinical changes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patients for safety risks and report concerns promptly.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, coping strategies, and continuing-care needs.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Protect patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health professionals, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Follow all medication-safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
- Perform additional behavioral health nursing duties as assigned.

About the RN – Behavioral Health Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week, day-shift assignment. This position provides direct nursing care to inpatient behavioral health patients while supporting safety, stabilization, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of behavioral health nursing experience, strong assessment and crisis-response skills, and active RN and BLS credentials.
