Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for an Extrusion Operator.
Extrusion Operator Job Details
Schedule: 36/48 rotation schedule, including every other weekend
Pay Rate: $18.60/hr

Extrusion Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical background required.
- Computer experience required.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift; certification will be provided.
- Ability to work a 36/48 rotation schedule.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.
- Ability to manually handle and stack materials.
- Jeans, T-shirt, and steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required.
About the Extrusion Operator Role
As an Extrusion Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate production process equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform material handling, stacking, and palletization.
- Prepare machines and associated equipment for die, grade, and color changes.
- Break down and assemble extruders as needed.
- Set and adjust dies for production.
- Perform machine start-up procedures.
- Operate machines and associated equipment according to standard processes.
- Monitor and control running conditions to maintain in-specification production.
- Enter machine and quality data into the AX system and other data-gathering tools.
- Maintain required PPK information.
- Collect and prepare production samples according to specifications.
- Safely operate equipment while following all company safety guidelines.
- Maintain the department and associated areas in a safe, orderly, and clean condition.
- Communicate production issues and concerns to management.
- Assist with training other employees as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
