General Utility Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Plastics manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow production procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable and safety-conscious work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical production and material-handling tasks.
About the General Utility Associate Role
As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with plant staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Start and operate mixers and production lines as assigned.
- Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-progress or finished goods.
- Build pallets to keep up with production output.
- Keep accurate counts of inventory produced during the shift.
- Track production downtime and help identify causes.
- Ensure the correct packaging materials are used for each product.
- Load and unload trucks and stage products in the appropriate locations.
- Perform visual or tool-assisted quality checks as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S practices.
- Support production operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
