Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Composite Technician.

Composite Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00–$25.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Miami Township, OH

Composite Technician Requirements/Qualifications
  • Previous painting experience required.
  • Associate degree and 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Composite, polymer, or resin experience preferred.
  • Experience transporting heavy products using cranes, forklifts, or similar equipment required.
  • Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Mechanical assembly and disassembly experience preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing requirements, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform other physical tasks.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely around resins, fibers, dust, equipment, and other manufacturing materials.
  • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.

About the Composite Technician Role
As a Composite Technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Manufacture complex composite products according to established specifications.
  • Prepare molds, resins, fabrics, and other composite materials.
  • Prepare and operate ovens for composite manufacturing processes.
  • Perform resin transfer and monitor process parameters such as temperature, time, and pressure.
  • Remove, trim, and finish completed composite products.
  • Perform painting and finishing tasks as required.
  • Inspect products to ensure workmanship, functionality, and quality standards are met.
  • Properly pack finished products according to customer and delivery requirements.
  • Identify manufacturing or equipment problems and recommend solutions.
  • Track material usage and disposition throughout production.
  • Maintain and properly use company tools and equipment.
  • Document project procedures, workflow, and production time.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and organization.
  • Assist coworkers with on-the-job training.
  • Travel to customer facilities when needed to assist with product installation and startup.
