Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a 2nd Shift General Laborer.

2nd Shift General Laborer Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Location: Walton, KY

2nd Shift General Laborer Requirements/Qualifications

Must have a solid and consistent work history.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work involving frequent heavy lifting.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be flexible and willing to work in different areas of the facility as assigned.
Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Must be comfortable working around medical waste, including used needles and containers with dried blood.
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with strong odors.
Required dress code: Jeans, T-shirt, and steel-toe boots.
Must have reliable personal transportation. No ridesharing permitted.

About the 2nd Shift General Laborer Role

As a 2nd Shift General Laborer, your responsibilities will include:

Work on the wash line to clean and sanitize containers used for medical waste.
Inspect containers for cleanliness and perform quality checks throughout the sanitation process.
Dry containers after they exit the sanitation machine.
Manually remove remaining materials, including dried blood and needles, from containers while wearing protective gloves.
Handle containers and materials associated with medical waste from hospitals and doctors' offices.
Perform frequent heavy lifting and other physically demanding warehouse tasks.
Assist with production line operations and move between work areas as assigned.
Follow workplace safety procedures when handling medical waste and potentially hazardous materials.
Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the shift.
