Schedule Information
- Day shift
- 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
Physical Therapist Requirements
- Physical therapy degree and active license to practice in Kentucky
- Lymphedema certification accepted by the facility
- At least one year of physical therapy experience
- Experience treating patients with lymphedema required
- Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Strong documentation, patient education, and communication skills
- Ability to meet all applicable HealthTrust credential requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate outpatients with lymphedema, orthopedic conditions, and neurological conditions.
- Develop and carry out individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and lymphedema management within the therapist’s credentials.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and ongoing care.
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Follow facility procedures and standards for patient safety.
