Somerset, KY

Schedule Information
- Night shift
- 13-week assignment
Sleep Lab Technologist Requirements
- At least two years of sleep lab experience
- Ability to prepare patients and set up equipment for overnight sleep studies
- Experience monitoring and documenting physiologic data
- Ability to identify and address technical issues during testing
- Strong patient communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to follow physician orders, facility protocols, and patient safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Perform overnight sleep studies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Explain testing procedures and prepare patients for their studies.
- Apply and monitor sleep study sensors and equipment.
- Collect and document physiologic data throughout each study.
- Identify technical issues and take appropriate action.
- Perform interventions permitted by facility protocol.
- Record study information and patient care accurately.
- Clean and prepare equipment between studies.
- Communicate significant findings and patient concerns to appropriate clinical personnel.

- EEG and other physiologic monitoring equipment
- Respiratory effort and airflow sensors
- Pulse oximetry and PAP equipment
- Electronic medical records
- Standard sleep lab equipment
