Material Handler – 2nd Shift
Lexington, KY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- Certification to operate a crane, forklift, and side-loader
- Ability to use a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to follow written instructions and customer specifications
- Product knowledge needed to identify the correct materials
- High school diploma, relevant training, or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
- Locate the correct material type and size for customer orders.
- Pull and package materials according to customer specifications.
- Check orders to confirm the correct items have been selected.
- Inspect and band parts for shipment.
- Verify heat numbers and tags for accuracy.
- Stage materials in route-specific order.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
