Job Description
Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Associate.
Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Miamisburg, OH
Shipping and Receiving Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to read shipping documents and inventory reports.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
About the Shipping and Receiving Associate Role
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Unload, sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts if certified.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure outgoing shipments are properly labeled and documented.
- Coordinate with carriers and delivery services for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that meets safety standards.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
