Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM
Pay Rate: $33.00/hr
Location: Troy, OH
Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, along with a recognized craft apprenticeship or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
- At least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills.
- Experience with PLCs and HVAC systems.
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
- Basic understanding of variable-frequency drives VFDsVFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of machine and tool design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout LOTOLOTO procedures.
- Ability to safely work at heights and around hazardous chemicals while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, and climb as required.
- Must be reliable with regular attendance and effective communication skills.
About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs to production equipment.
- Complete scheduled maintenance during machine service periods.
- Perform basic machining tasks as required.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Read equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Follow established lockout/tagout procedures and properly use energy-control devices.
- Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as needed.
- Safely use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment.
- Identify and report faulty equipment operation, defective materials, and unusual conditions.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas while following all safety regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
