Form Preparation & Warehouse Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Form Preparation & Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, cleaning, preparing, storing, repairing, and shipping concrete forms. This is a primarily outdoor position requiring the safe operation of hand and power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and form-oiling equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and count inbound forms and verify quantities against expected receipts.
- Inspect forms for damage, discrepancies, and missing materials, and report issues to a supervisor, manager, or lead.
- Determine when forms require cleaning, oiling, sorting, or additional preparation.
- Safely use hand tools, including hammers and chisels, to remove debris, dirt, and damaged wood from forms.
- Safely operate power tools, including grinders and table grinders, to remove debris and prepare forms for reuse.
- Apply water-based form oil using provided sprayers and applicators as required.
- Sort and stack cleaned and prepared forms by category, type, and size.
- Properly stock and store forms to maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Pull and prepare outbound forms for customer orders, transfers, and other shipments as directed.
- Perform shipping activities, including wrapping materials, applying shipping labels, and preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move and organize materials.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on damaged but repairable forms as instructed.
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating instructions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability and willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, grinder, and common hand tools.
- Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and calculating area using length × width.
- Ability to safely handle and apply water-based form oil.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged or defective materials.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other environmental conditions.
Work Environment
This is a primarily outdoor, physically demanding position. The employee will frequently stand, walk, lift, bend, carry, and handle concrete forms and other materials throughout the workday.
The job requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, rainy, windy, and other weather conditions. Employees may work around wood, dust, debris, machinery, power tools, forklifts, and form-oiling materials.
Proper PPE and established safety procedures must be followed at all times.
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
