General Utility Associate Job Details

Pay Rate: $20.90/hr

Location: Florence, KY

General Utility Associate Requirements/Qualifications

Manufacturing experience required.
Plastics manufacturing experience is a strong plus.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to safely operate production equipment.
Ability to complete production paperwork accurately.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Ability to perform material handling, palletizing, and general production duties.

About the General Utility Associate Role

As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Work closely with plant employees to maintain a safe work environment.
Start and operate mixers and production lines.
Supply production lines with necessary materials.
Empty production lines into pallets for work-in-process or finished goods.
Track and record inventory produced throughout the shift.
Help document production downtime and its cause.
Ensure the correct packaging materials are used for each product type.
Build pallets to keep up with production output.
Load and unload trucks.
Stage products in the correct locations.
Stage, load, and label shipments accurately to ensure the correct products are shipped on time.
Perform periodic quality inspections visually or with appropriate tools.
Complete required production paperwork.
Maintain clean and organized work areas using the 6S process.
Perform additional production and facility duties as assigned.
